Domus Mater is a modern accommodation facility that can gather around 80 people. It is a perfect place both for group and individual retreat. Situated In Kraków-Płaszów.
Domus Mater provides quietness and silence that will help you concentrate during your days of retreat. Our facility has its own garden with flower alleys and a water hole where you can walk and appreciate nature in a big city. At the same time, there are bus and tram stops next to the building that allow to go to the city center and popular pilgrimage destinations, like the Devine Mercy Sanctuary in Łagiewniki.
You can also visit our 24-hour chapel, both individually and as a group. There is a possibility to organize a special mass in the chapel on the request of our guests. On the first floor of the building, there is a museum sacred to the memory of Stanisław Nagy, the cardinal.
Domus Mater was created on the place of the former Priests of the Sacred Heart monastery and is still owned by them so it should not be a surprise that there is a Bible in each room which, of course, you can use during your stay. This facility is situated close to the Sacred Heart church where there is a painting of Our Lady of Divine Maternity, famous for its grace.
